everyone's excuse for being a douche in the winter because there is nothing to do but when spring rolls around the only thing that changes is the amount of "who was thats." having said that, i contribute nothing useful to the site, so i dont really care. i just like to argue about/over nothing... which is exactly what this thread has already turned into:icon_cheers:

I just went back and actually read the first post and am now laughing out loud at the irony of this guy. He made a post to bitch about how much other people bitch about stuff. If you really wanted to correct it you would have just stfu and not read them. Pretty easy

I was just gonna bring this up... all we pretty much do is bitch at each other on here and bs anyways... When it comes to actual talk about cars/performance etc. I don't think there is enough stuff actually going on in this town to have a site that's 100% devoted to what it's "meant" to be... There's a few guys that build crazy fast cars, and the rest pretty much just build the normal street car or street/strip car, and then some ricers, lol... Most of the setups are things that are pretty common, and the uncommon things are rarely done by more than one person, so information about much of the things isn't shared, because either a) it's pretty common knowledge (honda swaps and such). or b) it's something that nobody else will probably do

true... i never said i knew everything... i know some stuff, just some things i end up needing a refresher on.. it sucks not doing anything for a year or so and then trying to get back into working on the car and forgetting a lot of what i need to make what work

Really think about it tho...a regional site isn't about the cars mostly anyway...we all go to our model specific forums so we can tell our e-friends our model specific humor/problems. A regional site like fargostreet is just meant to bring locals together based on a common interest. How often are you going to post legitimate questions about a certain mod on your 335i on FS, post whores or not? You're the only owner on here, and chances are, you know more about the car than most everyone here. I wasn't trying to single you out, just using you as an example. We are a small group of people with mostly model specific information...and since we are all local, it's easy to PM and get phone numbers rather than posting a question 1 or 2 might be able to answer.
In short, due to small amount of people and lack of defined model specific groups, information is scarce. This site is more about bring the local "culture" together than helping Joe Schmo build his project. You make an introduction here, and you already know your niche group of people by the questions and comments they have...and you take it off the forum when you have a question..or to PMs.

Ding ding ding... we have a winner. Tony hit it right on the head. The only thing is that if we are a car community trying to bring people together to support the same shit, we need to do that and not bash someone because of there graphics, ricer wing, under body lights, ect. If that person comes to a meet you can take a step out of your click and go talk to them see what they would like to do to there car and steer them in the right direction.
There is so many people on this site that know an extreme amount about cars in general let alone there specific brands/model. It is all waisted in the bashing posts though.
