I think raw would be great for a more 'showy' car, get them cleared and expect the same wear as other wheels.

This is strongly dependent on what wheel and where I will be wrapping (just lip, just spokes, lip and spokes), and the size of wheel.

There are other colors, but they do not have near as much 'real' look to them. I'll show you the stuff when you come down.

they look like this, and I would only want the centers done. I can remove the centers also for you. They are 17" wheels.

If you can remove the centers, that would help a lot with the 90 degree bend...I am not sure how a 90 degree bend on a 90 degree bend would work (in the upper edges. If I can get it we'd be looking about $50/wheel for those wheels.

Where the slit is in the spokes it isn't a straight 90* there it tapers down for the transition.

Once I get the car in the garage and up on jack stands I am thinking you will be getting some advan centers to cover. :icon_rr:

actually i may have you play with my stock audi rims depending on the integrity of the wrap, do you know anything about how well it will hold up or would this primarily be a show item?

i realise you said expect normal wear once you clear em, but have you actually applied these to anything driving yet is really my question?

I wouldn't be so worried about holding up to brake dust and grime and stuff as I would heat from the brakes. You have any idea how that would effect this stuff?

It takes a lot of heat from a heat gun to get this stuff to form quickly, so it takes heat fine. I don't believe I have ever heard of a wheel reaching that temp, cause if it did, what would happen to the rubber of the tire??? I've seen glowing red rotors in rally's, but I haven't seen the wheel get that hot. We have tested cleansing the stuff (grease, oil, dirt from the back shop), and it cleans up fine...

I may be wrong on my overall opinion on the heat of the wheel, but I will stand beside the product and if you get the wheels done and it melts or fails due to heat, I will give you a credit for the price paid for the wheels, towards wrapping other products in carbon.
