It'll take a mini-tub or a lot of work with a hammer to fit a 335. I've got about 1/2" at best to play with towards the inside.

Now I just need some sticky tires. Trying to decide if I stick with a 26" tall tire and risk running out of RPM in 4th or go taller (and likely overboard)

I think I'm just going to buy everything that Bill has to sell and hope one of them makes the car fast.

hopefully he sells a driver at some point...

Spent the first day of the 2 day street legal trying to get these to fit (with the grinder) and couldn't do it. Ordered up some braided lines from Maximum motorsports which end up being considerably shorter (the line end is thinner and the fluid bolt is shorter) than the OEM stuff and it fits - barely.

Throw 270 lbs on the drivers seat and set the rear ride height so the lower control arm bolt holes are at the same height.

we'll see if I have time and ambition to do that tonight. I need to get some other work done if I'm going to be at the track all day tomorrow. Too bad they don't run Trophy elims first so I can get put on the trailer and come home at a decent time.

congrats on dipping into the 12s, but that things gotta have more than that in it. It doesnt even sound like you are shifting as high as you could be, also, have you tried slipping the clutch? You might be babying the car too, idk.

                              no race car? becuz homeowner...

No sense in revving the motor any higher (that was shifting around 5500) at least until I get it on a dyno and find out there is still power up there - otherwise I'm going to guess the blower is out of steam by that time.

I'm going to stick with dumping it and hoping it hooks. That first video it came out of the hole fine. I think it was somewhere just over 4000RPM I dumped the clutch at. The second pass I apparently dropped the revs waiting for the lights to drop because it bogged out of the hole.

Unfortunately I have a hard time seeing my tach through the steering wheel so I'm trying to hit everything by ear and I've hardly driven this car since I bought it.

As for getting more out of it..
Want to try leaving closer to 4500RPM and see how it 60s - although after last weekend at Sabin I'm not too positive I'll be able to get that to stick there. Who knows, maybe the ET Streets just weren't 'broken in' yet.
