Took the newly tuned turbo 1000 to the track this weekend.

Saturday turned into a day of pretty much troubleshooting. Electrical glitches that led to a bad air shifter ignition kill box (thanks to Charlie at Top End for loaning us his). We worked on tweaking the fuel trims per gear, and the bike didn't ET worth anything, but showed promise with a 164 mph pass.

We tore into the bike Saturday night to find that we had multiple boost leaks. This was a big contributor to the way the bike was running all day.

Back to the track today and the bike was running much better, and the ignition kill was fixed, but a new problem popped up. Newer bikes have a speed limiter that kicks in when the ecu reads 6th gear, and a certain RPM (this equates to roughly 186 mph). Due to the altered gearing, we were reaching that point. After a quick alteration to the speed sensor pickup (read: grinder), we were back in business.

After a few passes to get acquainted with the bike in fully-functional condition. This happened.....

    60'.........1.490
    330'.......3.802
    660........5.618
    MPH.......135.85
    990'........7.138
    1320'......8.518
    MPH.......168.51

After checking two different weather stations at the track, the corrected altitude at the time of the run was roughly 4300'
