Wow Dave, you are not having good luck this year! I bet some JB weld will take care of it though! Where is the video? heh.

Yep, I'm done for the year. I don't have a spare block anymore so I need to start searching for one. Matt has video on his camera, I guess you can see the parts flying out from under the car. Good times.

          😛

In this pic, you can see that main caps #5 and #6 broke and are completely gone, main cap #7 is about 2/3 gone (one ARP stud still hanging in there). Main cap #4 is broke in 2 pieces but is still in there, main cap #3 is cracked and still hanging in as well.

Looks like you are still using factory type motor mounts, time for solid plates front and at bell hsg. you might/probably are twisting and distorting the block. Caps can't stay in the registers.:icon_scratch:

Hey Warren! All of the high hp guys still use stock motor mounts, pretty much the concensus is that the stock main caps are maxed out around 1100 hp. Soo.... check this out. We took Matts engine apart and see what we find inside:

                                legacy image

So how does that work? My caps break and fly out of the block breaking everything else in sight. But Matts break and say "no problem, we'll just stay put and keep the engine together.
