News says a witness say the bike accelerate as it got to the light, possibly to beat the red light. Also said they think speed might have been a factor
Not taking sides or defending anyone but sure seems like if its a bike, especially a sport bike they automatically look to the riders fault and say they were speeding.

i guess some chick on my facebook said her mom was there and trying to help. the guy on the bike had no pulse, and the woman, said she was pregnant and she landed on her stomach, so they dont know if the baby is ok. RIP. Apparently the guy tried to beat the red light. But was normally a very safe biker. Goes to show you just that one time, you make a wrong decision. Be careful guys.

Why was he "Racing a red light" with his PREGO girl on?? Or even riding with her for that matter as others have pointed out... Just sad man..
