Nice, gonna call em up tomorrow. What's wrong with the amount of minutes Tony? I have 450 mins. I use about 200 a month. The only person I know that does not have Verizon that i call/they call me is my mother, who has Altel. But I suppose someone should have 3000 minutes so they are baller, right?
You're right, the need for more minutes so I can call my customers is dumb. Not very many offices in this world use Verizon mobile phones for their office phones.

Qualified !

Called and qualified and switched to it. Made my plan, for my BB, be $48.00 a month. Win.
On top of that, after i changed the plan over the phone the chick told me that if you call that number by Nov 20-something, for some Holiday promotion, you can get 2-year pricing on a new phone. So win.

This 69.99 plan was meant to be offered the south region only. It was to fire back @ Sprint, AT&T, as well as T-mobile. Verizon retail employee's where not even notified of this plan.
The way around it if you are not "qualified" When you call in and the rep asks "Did you receive a letter or email or some sort of notification about it?" JUST SAY YES. You are qualified.
What we are doing is giving you the internet on your smart phone plan free for 1 year. It requires a one year extension to your contract w/ the promotion ending after that.

lol That's funny...because it did absolutely nothing to my plan...but decrease it by $20.00 a month. Sounds like someone's out of the loop. Funny thing is; I went into the 45th store the day after I switched to this plan and the two people I talked to have NO idea what it was, or even acknowledged that such a plan exists...herm...

No part of the plan expires in one year.

That's probably because this plan was only available via calling the number on what I posted. I think the word for this program spread way more rapidly then they expected. They said on the phone that it would be extending your contract; however, it did not affect the dates you where available for a upgrade or anything like that, just that you basically agree to have Verizon for an additional year after switching to that contract.

Just called and I was able to switch to this plan. I just got the Droid X and the broad in the corporate store had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned this plan. She was a bitch and pretty much told me I had no idea what I was talking about.

Same situation I had. I was on the phone with Verizon customer service combining my land line and mobile bill and the customer service rep said that no such plan existed. I gave her the number from the ad and she conferenced the other promotions rep on the call and got it all figured out.
