I did this speedtest earlier tonight, very good IMO. BTW, I would advise anybody who does this to use the Midco server in Sioux Falls, SD. I get the best speeds from there every time, although ping may be a bit higher there than the recommended server.

That's the problem with Fargo, we have only one broadband carrier and it's shitty.

Torbs, that's about the speed I got with Sprint 3G tethering too. Can't wait for LTE or even HSPDA+ to get to our city.

I was waiting for the Droid Bionic w/ the Tegra 2 but I hear it's getting canceled due to battery concerns.

            22mbps w00t.

                Cableone
                Qwest
                I29
                Ideaone
                Integra
                Multiband
and at least a couple others I'm sure.

Now, a LOT of the ISP's that offer DSL are doing so using the Qwest lines, but I29 and Multiband have a wireless solution and IdeaOne has tons of fiber run in town (mostly in the newer areas). So it's not entirely fair to say that there is only one broadband carrier.

Some places in Fargo, Cableone is your only option beyond 56k (including i29/multiband...that crap is slower than molasses)

I'm can't wait for LTE or Sprint going 4g...speaking of which, anybody know when Sprint will have 4g around here? I may have to switch when Verizon gets rid of their unlimited plans...

My battery life sucks. Need to get this HTC sense off of it and load a custom rom, I think it kills the battery.

Not entirely true, I know of at least 2 people who are using a docsis 3.0 setup from cableone w/ speeds @ 50mbps....this is a brand new option from them however AFAIK, you might want to call in and inquire about it.

FWIW, MidcoMAX is going to be getting an increase to 50mbps on the "entry level" docsis 3 setup. MidcoUltimate is going to be increasing speeds to 125mbs (from their current 90mbps)

Do you live in an LTE area?

I'm fairly certain its the constant network activity generated by all the pre-loaded shit that HTC / VZW puts on here.
