    The truck does pretty well in the flat, but up long hills it's breathing pretty hard. Driving 67-68 mph we got a best of 10.7 mpg. In a nasty hilly stretch it got 8.8 mpg.

              Holy , looks like you need some air bags in the back(or something to help it out). In addition to a little more juice on the powerstroke.

              Sandblasting(I use glass beads)

                  the thing about it is how much tongue load that thing has, jezuz

                  i have been over 25k (livestock) with my 3/4 ton and it doesn't make the pickup look anything like that

                    I don't remember exact numbers but on the scale it had about 4000 on the front truck axle, 11,000 on the rear truck axle, and 6000 on the three trailer axles. Air bags are probably a good idea.

                          I don't think it's required, I think with the LQ the trailer can be classified as a RV.
