Who buys Catalytic Converters?
-
I'm wondering who in the area buys catalytic converters, someplace I can actually walk into lay it on the counter and they can pay me if they want it.
I've got a brand new one laying around and have no use for it, I'd rather have the cash instead of the converter.
I put it on Craigslist but the only couple hits I've gotten are, you know who, and I know they won't want to pay jack for it.Sterling Archer: Oh my god! You killed a hooker!
Cyril Figgis: Call girl!
Sterling Archer: No Cyril! When they're dead they're just hookers!

Aftermarket ones are worth about $5-$10. A new one would be worth more as a usable converter rather then scrap.

Maybe I'll post up here in the sale area, maybe somebody needs a new cat.

Harm on here used to know a guy from a BMW forum or somewhere that payed 50 bucks for them. Could ask him about it._
