    I was just wondering if you can swap an different tranny into a ej20g? if so what kind of tranny can fit into a ej20g?

        as far as i know any subaru trans will work... i have a 99 STi 5spd, 4.44 ratio trans, driveshaft, diff, axles for sale....

          I saw that on craigslist, not sure if it's worth the asking price.
          As far as a trans for that car, any awd trans from a Subaru with an eh series engineering will bolt up, there are a few things to match up like making sure final drive ratio matches the rear diff and linkages can be different. I can post a lot more when I'm not posting on my phone, any questions ask away.

            Ya looking at the rsti, was looking for a 2.5rs but cant find any around, but the asking price is kinda high, so a lot of thinking so in the mean time look around see if i can get a tranny for it if i do buy it 🙂

              I was going to look at that car but I'm going to hold out for a wagon, or one without rust. Have you talked to the seller? I was assuming the car is a manual but either way it's all doable, Anyway's here's a few handy links for transmission stuff.
