Preston Trout Days Custom Car Show
May 21st ALL DAY starting at 9 am
Only $8 to register. Includes Car Show entrance fee and parade.
Typical attendance to this show is about 200 cars, 500+ people. Preston is a small town on US Hwy 52.
This WAS a classic car only show until I showed up. The next year after I showed up (02) they made a "SPORT COMPACT/IMPORT" class and a "FAST AND FURIOUS" (I know, I know) class. My car is a piece, and I've won a trophy every year. It's a lot of fun, not a lot of prep work required. GREAT experience if this is your first show.
We basically set up lawn chairs, beer, and music, and just bum all day.
Bob Viau Jr. (Edge951), Joe Harvieux (JustROLLIN), Joe Kappers (2003Eclipse from DSMStyle), and his girlfriend, and a few others are typically all who show up with half decent cars. It would be fun to see some more come down.

I've heard it was a damn good time, some drinking and partying, if you like that...I am planning on being there that is if some other people from the site come too...i know it is on the first tintmasters race day so that might put a cramp in it...post here for questions and intent to go

sounds like a good time, how far away from Fargo is it exactly?? I would be very interested in goin and showin my car just for fun.

if it weren't the opening day of tintmasters races I'd go for sure (who knows, I still might.) I'm not a big fan of the "leave your car parked where it is all day" type shows, which is why I really like devils run. You can pretty much come and go as you please and theres usually a lot of people cruising around town all day so its a good time. The only day when people leave their cars sitting the whole time is on the last day for the show and shine, otherwise the cars are driven around town and to and from the hotels, etc....
I'm not sure if this show is similar to that or not but it sounds like a good time (laid back). I'll try and make it but its really hard to justify driving several hours when I could drive a few minutes to a track and race all day.

UPDATE on this, the date was posted incorrectly originally. The show is the weekend of May 14th and not the 21st as was originally reported. I will definately try and make this show.
