You will love Cali.
There is way more shit to do and the average woman is always better looking than your average Arctic Cat Jacket wearing hoochies up here.

It will just time to re-adjust and that is the hardest part really. It is kind of like moving away to college. You will get really homesick for the first few weeks but you adjust to it and make the most of it.
There should be a lot more for cars and such out there. Finding any kind of car will be 10x easier then it would be up here. Plus they will not have rust like they do up here plus the amount of shops to do various work should be plentiful. You can't forget about the beaches either.

Downtown San Diego is probably the nicest in the country, and it's really close to Mexico. I spent 2 weeks there, big import/ricer scene.

my wife and i really want to move to that area and we've been there a few times.
there is A LOT more to do there, and the climate is a lot more stable than here. Cars were very plentiful to buy there and i've noticed alot on national forums that there are a lot of great deals in socal. like on honda-tech there is a lot of free stuff, i picked up an fake ITR strut bar, brand new VW battery, and an teg wire harness for free.
i would jump all over an opportunity to get out of here (anyone want to buy a house?)

The only problem with San Diego are high cost of living, and housing....2nd in the nation in housing cost.
