So I have come to the conclusion that modding the fuckus would be dumb... it has a great warranty and is a quick agile little car that will be a great daily driver for a long long time. Besides I can throw roughly $1000 into suspension mods and have a sweet little auto-x car and keep my reliable daily driver.
So im in the market for an 88-91 CRX preferably Si, or 92-94 Civic hatch also preferably Si. Doesnt matter if they are Si or not, but Si makes a swap easier and 4-wheel disk breaks are already there.
Basically dont want much rust if any... surface rust is fine but anything under the surface, well ill have to look at it. Miles dont matter and if its just a rolling chasis that doesnt matter either. What matters is that the body isnt completely fucked up, most of the stock interior remains, and its a manual transmission.
Also would be in the market for a motor and transmission to swap into it. d16z6 or an LS motor are my main wants. A B16 wouldnt be bad either, but for the price id rather go with the previous two. Transmission would be an Si tranny with LSD or an integra hydro tranny with LSD. Basic Si or integra transmission wouldnt be bad either because an LSD can be swapped at a later date.

I think there is a rolling CRX shell on here for like $200 or something.

If you want an autocross car, the CRX is not the platform to go about it. There are much better cars out there. Much better.

I don't think that he wants an Auto-X car but more of a cheap go fast car. Hey I have heard of cheap go fast cars but damn what was the name of them?

Thats a 90 hatch... looking for a 92-94 hatch like tufte's, or an 88-91 crx.
Also I was talking about my focus being an auto-x car... its stock suspension set up is killer already and add a coil over set-up and it owns.
I want a hatch for a swap, add boost, then fix up the interior and exterior to have a good looking fast moving car that I dont already owe $17,000 on in loans. Something I can start off with a slow ugly peice of crap and slowly make it nice... just basically a project car.
No problem on hijack... I do it all the time.

FIND ME A PROJECT DAMNIT! I dont want to have to resort to modding the focus... the warranty has been good to me lately.
