Moorhead Wireless

[PSiedTSi]

i agree with jim...are they gonna be using like a standard 802.11B/G protocol?

[integra_gsr98]

I built a network with a coverage map that was larger than that and extended out over 15 miles. For a private service they should be using something in a licensed spectrum so that you must buy hardware from them to get on their network, but who knows exactly what they did.

[amicheze]

yeah.. theres no way youd be able to use 802.11x for something like that.

who uses the internet nowadays anyways?

[SmitEvo]

So basically you need to buy there bridge or rent it from them?

So we get a cheap wireless internet service, and most of you are going to piss and moan about it? I don't get it. Just keep on cable one then, or move to Fargo(which I am sure they will be getting wireless in the near future as well).

[PSiedTSi]

the sad thing is i am moving to fargo oh well i guess i have no choice to stay with cable one
