Ok my 3.8 V6 Stang has TBI. I'm wanting to swap a FI system from a T-Bird and maybe a supercharger from one. Anyone know if this will work? Some people say yes some say no.

when u go to the FI system you have to run a different PCM...it would work if you bought the whole intake system with the wire harness and PCM

Yea I knew that. So would the supercharger also work if I have the PCM? Also need some info about getting a cam. Was looking at a website and they have one that is around .030 in higher then stock on lift and then theres one that was .060 in. I'm just wanting something that would be able to perform but not be crazy when I'm not at WOT.

Well if your wanting just some performance for the street and strip go with the .030 lift... if you want a lot of performance for the strip go with the .060. If your going to be adding a lot of fuel ( expecially if you go with the supercharger ) definately get the .060

Before you dig into cams at all, you'll need to do something with that shitty EFI. TBI is not adequate for any perf app- ideally you'll need a MAF system. If you want to run a cam of any size worth installing, speed density will NOT work worth a shit. The calibrations are not supported w/ any tuning hardware (diablo, superchips, etc) and many are EEC-III. If you want power w/o digging into that, start putting exhaust and gears into it first- best bang for the buck w/o getting in over your head

Yea I prolly won't go with a new cam until I get some bolt ons. I know I will need a new fuel pump and lines to go with the S/C. Would an MAF come with this system? And what years did the T-Bird have the s/c? Also would I want to pick up a wideband sensor and anything else for tuning?
