how bout we get back on topic, accord v. t-bird, you know the title of the thread,
What do you think adds 3-5 horse power? exhaust header and intake are really the only thing that would do that to a honda, unless your talking an ebay chip(resistor) in which i still have a hard time believing that would do anything other than make you run rich. Papmurph, what do u seriously have done to your car? Those are the shittiest rules ever for a car club. Your saying a dsm with an exhaust and some gauges cant be in your club? are you going to meet in the car audio section at walmart or what? -
Many Reasons....could apply here.....bad driver, something wrong with the car, weight disadvantage. Who knows though...could of been just the accord drivers mad skilzzzzzzz

We need a Domestic car club...:(.
Not that doms cant be in a import dominated car scene, but i've never seen a domestic only club around there.

From a history on Accords...
"Onthe mechanical side, carburetors were history, as fuel injection was made standard on all Accords. The new 2.2-liter engine pumped out 125 horsepower in DX and LX trims, and 130 horses in the EX." 125 horse in a littlecar vs 200hp in a really heavy car. up to 70, i believe that the accord should win, or could have possibly won. nothing special about the accord.
