I am looking at a 88 civ(i think its 4 dr if that helps). the guy knows nothing about it, but I was just wondering what series of motor was in it. I think it's fuel injected. He doesn't know what trim level it is. thank you for any help.

And how is one supposed to obtain a title for the "free" Civic? You can't just pick up car and say you own it.

you can if it sits at your property more than 90 days........

^^^this is correct. If the owner doesnt get the car after 90 days off of your proporty, its yours, after 6 months, its definately yours lol

simply out of curiousity, do you just go to the DMV and say "This car has been at my shop for 6 months. Give me the title"??? How does that work? How do you prove that it's been there for 90 days?

I know tho that it has to be the person who owns the property that first obtains the title, than they can give the car to someone.

^^^haha, well yours is a different story, i mean if they contact you about it and want it back, or if it is getting work done to it or in your case waiting for a motor, its a little different than just sitting there for 6 months without getting it back.

umm no its pretty much the same!! no one contacts me about it...no works done to it...although the motors "supposed" to be there today
