-
oh shit my bad....they are on the eclipseforum.com website in the classifieds...and they are street legal
heres the info:---
"For Sale:
1994 Nissan Skyline GTS-4
This car is titled in the US as a Nissan Skyline
$32,000
804.363.7577 for inquiries
or send an IM to: FC3C Drift
Included in the sales price as well is the new carbon fiber hood (installed), new turbos and manifold, AVC-R hooked up and tuned and a NX nitrous kit which has yet to be installed. Also I am sure we will be willing to work with the buyer on discounted additional parts as well. a good 3-4" exhaust will really free up the power in that car. The RB series of motor follows the same principle as the BPU stuff the Supra guys talk about.
I can also be contacted via email: [email protected] and also on my other aim: twiztidbnr32.Carter
Sales @ P.S.I. Motorsports
-turbos on the car are not bad, I think the owner was upgrading as opposed to replacing the turbos.
Its got about 40,000 original miles on it. The insurance rates on the car are about the same as a saturn the owner said since it has to be specially done since the skyline isn't something US companies usually insure heh..... I'll see about getting more pics asap.
We also have an R33 4 door and will have 2 R34s on the 14th, all have US titles and are 100% legal in the US. The asking price on the 4 door is $45,000.
NOTE: the asking price for the R32 GTS-4 is actually $40,000
Also the prices on the cars will be steadily creeping up as they are all being constantly upgraded. "They only had a pic of the ass end of the car though...its silverish blue

Couldn't you swap a RB25dett into a S14 and have all the body modifications for it to look like a skyline for much cheaper?
But then again it wouldn't be a skyline.

I saw some lady driving a RHD subaru station wagon yesterday!!! with ND plates, so they have to be legal... in order to register, even though I herd otherwise
-
Jim i would agree with you. and if all else fails just call the DMV and ask them. 701.328.2581 is the number you could call and ask.
-
Okay thanks guys, I'll give them a call on Monday to be sure. Hope to see some of you out there!
Jim- I think I saw you last weekend when I was driving through Fargo, coming back from Chicago to pick up my Eclipse. Man am I ever jealous of the roads you have there..

As long as the SKyline is legal in ur state u shouldn't have any problems.

You will be just fine to bring your car down to the states. You're only visiting anyway. It would be a different story if you planned on moving here. But as a visitor, you should be just fine. If and when you call the DMV, make sure you state that your visiting only.

I worked on a RHD subi wagon last fall with around that many miles on it. I think it was postal use back then. Not sure if it is still around though.
As of the RHD being legal....as long as it passes US crash tests and emissions of that year, it doesn't matter which side you drive on.

Does a car have to be legal to drive in the US even if it is registered in another country and they aren't a resident? Oh, I almost forgot, Nissan rocks! Hope to see you and the skyline down here for the autox.
