im not going to sell for a while, i dont have the rsx yet. hey when does your vtec all kick in for you vtec owners. Mines at 4400, i hear its at 5200 and it kicks in at 5200 at half throttle. do you think anything is wrong with my car?

definitely know when my vtec kicks in cause my exhaust sounds ultra loud and go-kartish

Mine engages @ 4114 and is obnoxious.

Yeah my ole D16 would kick in around 4500ish and I was like "OMG VTEC!!!!"

mine kicks in somewhere around 5k -
didnt know it was 3/4 throttle. well yeah i guess then at 3/4 throttle i have my vtec kick in at 5200

The US RSX kicks in at 5800 rpm and redlines at 8200 rpm. Now, the JDM version kicks in at 5200 rpm and redlines at 8600 rpm. Only difference for these is the computer, it needs to be reflashed to Hondata #4 otherwise you need a JDM computer and engine.
