Photography tips for SCN:

STRONGLY suggest tripod
with tripod, try using longer exposures (without flash of course)
use flash for models etc. is fine
play around with the white balance
I suggest using a 2 second timer to avoid camera blur (or use cable
release if applicable)

at HIN there were alot of cameras flying around the place. almost all had an external flash. i am referring to SLR and DSLR cameras here. there was also a number of people who were lugging tripods as well. i stopped a few and asked them how much of a pain it was? overall they said it was not a pain at all. as it gave them a different feel than all the flash gave them.

i had forgot to put it in my cart but i hope to have it by SCN. and that is a diffuser for my exernal flash. it helps to reduce the harsh light from the flash as it disperses it better than just right off the flash head.

nice tips though.

i did notice at HIN as i have at many of the local indoor car shows........that many will wait for you to get the shot or walk around.....but there are a whole lot of people who will not..
so if you are after whole car shots then be warned of people walking front of you. so be different and get up close for the odd shots or unique shots...

What day are everyone leaving and coming back? I know last year we left on Thursday, and came back on Sunday.

Dress Code at the Empire for the pre-party is no running shoes/sneakers, no ripped jeans, no cutoffs, no hats. Basically dress to impress.

Both Pre-party and After-party are 18+ events.

Any club in the cities wont let you wear baggy jeans, hats, or hooded sweat shirts either. Shit most the clubs in Vegas wont even let you wear jeans.

And on another note if your not 18+ just please stay home so you dont hold everyone else back or cause any issues trying to sneak in places and making a mess for everyone else.

probably a smart/safe idea...everyone has to remember its a different country not another state...they do things a little bit differently up there
