I saw a red 4th gen Camaro with a BIG cowl hood on it on 13th. Makes a guy curious about what's under there. Anybody know the guy?

Why do people do that? It seems to be the chevy guys too, I've seen on numerous occasions bone stock chevy trucks and camaros with huge cowl induction hoods. Although I must say there not as overdone as those damn lund stick on hood vents.

i agree, ichibankilla. i do think those induction hoods look nice but that's like putting in a visisble intercooler w/o having the turbo...it just doesn't add up. and those fake stick-on scoops...w..t..f.. i don't know what's worse, when you see those scoops on trucks or when these ricers or pontiacs put them on their cars. bleh.

I think the hoods are usually intended to accomodate a Roots or twin-screw blower, which is why I was a bit curious. I don't think most blowers fit under the cowl in a 4th gen, though.
