I was out Friday and Saterday night, First off I would like to say Fargo has the Nice Show cars( fedetts Integra, Purple eclipse, s2000, yellow integra, white type R, White civic,Gold Civic etc....
Also fargo has some fast cars.
A few probes, Cartmans integra, many many dsm's, nick's civic hatch turbo, some 5.0's supra,Then fargo has its Wanna be's AKA ricers
1# Harwood's Gay Civic (I love the mod list)
List goes on.... -
as much fun as it was on saturday, i think i liked friday and sunday nights better. having just a handful of people hanging out is more fun than having a whole bunch of people in different cliques. plus that way we dont get a bunch of stupid people doing burnouts in the parking lot and around corners and shit. i bet half the people there on saturday have never been to this site.

I was on my way out there, until my car took a dump last night. Some of your fast cars may be cheaper, but my coverage is worth it.
-
10 year/100,000 mile warranty! BOOHYA!! That means redline all you want.
-
I GUARANTEE if the dealer sees you beating the fuck out of the car, they will have just cause for voiding the warranty.
-
I know, not beating the fuck, as you so gently put it, might not get caught, but aftermarket parts will kill me in the end. Now will be the true test, I had a problem, but I took my intake off quick and put the stock one back on, but I will see what happens. I think I might have gotten water in the intake. They can't just void my whole warranty, that's against the law. They can only not replace parts where aftermarket parts are, otherwise, I am all covered.
-
I don't know, but maybe it was just dirty, or if water got on there somehow, there goes my car. I don't really care just as long as it's covered and gets fixed. They are working on it now.

If your check engine light is on I can pretty much gaurantee they'll know more than you think about what caused it. OBDII cars take data snapshots when they give a CEL. Things like engine load, RPM, A/F ratios, vehicle speed are common things captured. If you bring you're car in with the stock airbox on and the A/F ratios are completely wrong they're going possibly diagnose the problem incorrectly.
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects you from having your warranty voided when using aftermarket parts unless it can be proven the aftermarket part caused the problem. Because of this it is your duty, IMO, to be able to scan your own vehicle's computer system with a scanner so you can retrieve code information and look it up. If the code is related to something you did then you should diagnose and fix the issue. If you don't agree with this then don't modify your car.
What makes you think you got water in the engine anyway? A small amount of water spray isn't so bad (water injection anyone?) and you'd have to submerge the filter completely to get a real good amount of water anyway. And if you did that you certainly wouldn't be driving it to the dealer for repair.

i dont tihnk the dealership you bought it from wouldve cared if you had different intake its not that bvig of a difference as the stock one..so you couldve just left it on.
