Alright, so my girlfriend is from Minot, it is a little hicky out there(no offense). We have a long going debate over what is the correct way to pronounce the candy, "Reeses". Her whole family says it like this, "Rees-ies", I say, "Rees-es". I think you should be able to tell what I mean. I thought they were retarded and I couldn't understand why they would pronounce it like that... Anyways, I want to see what everyone on here says because it bugs me.

If you mean do I say rees-es (with the es pronounced like you'd say "essay") or rees-ies (with the ies pronounced like you would when saying "cries") the answer is the first (rees-es)....hence the name of the bite sized candies, Reeses Pieces, they should rhyme

Not "ies" like in "cries", I guess I should've said "reese-ees" or "reese-ez. It seems so obvious to me that it is pronounced "rees-es", simply because that is how it should be, hah. Also, like you said tjamz, it rhymes!!
