SRT4 vs Tiburon

No, I don't think its that everytime GD is on he gets ripped on, it's that he seems to think that he will EASILY make 275 whp w/ his SC and smoke EVO's. He makes himself an easy target I personally hope he does do it, it would be cool to see a non-traditional fast car in the area.

Your an auto also arent you tj?Now that I think about it, no I won't have traction issues, my luanches let me only go so high, and I think, that will actually help me. I see all these people that launch way high, and just sit and spin all day. I don't think it will be that bad.
Yeah, I am auto, but I have a huge stall TC in.You might want to look at upgrading your brakes so that they won't push you through the line. I'm finding I need to do that soon as well.

it refers the stall rating on the TC (torque converter). Basically, it allows me to rev the motor higher before the torque converter "stalls" or locks up. For example, I was only able to rev my car to 2700 RPM while stopped and holding the brakes before my car wouldn't rev any higher/would push through the brakes. Now I can rev to about 4800 RPM therefore allowing me to make boost on launch.

I plan on it, and they have a level 10 TC waiting for me. That's some nice boost. I will post some dyno's also, just cause it's fun.

problem is it will DESTROY my transmission, too many horror stories of 5spd WRX's going blitzo after UTECs ignition/fuel cut stutter box

Here is a video of the RIPP mod's Dyno at S3 Triple Crown this year.

do we know what kind of dyno that is? Meaning is it inertia or roller? Not bad numbers either way
-
I am not sure, but I can find out for you.

TIN and PSIed said that your car was slower than tins, and I am not just saying that, they said you ran like a harwood style 16.5+ or something at the track, higher than that I think. Let's just say, I slaughtered TIN from a roll, and it was pretty close from a dig. He told me not to tell anyone the outcome. Nah, it was close. I pretty much had him for a while, then he pulled later, but I would hope so, having 30 more hp than me from the factory. It was serioulsy not even close from a roll, but I suppose you guys are heavier and all. I am sure I will race you some day here and stop all of this nonsense, but not now, after what just happened, and having to pay $89 to nissan today, I am taking it easy.

They said it, not me, ask them. I thought you were noth 98s, did you get a newer one? I think you said something about that a while ago. Tjamz, it's a dynojet, roller.
-
We will soon. Hey Tjamz, have you dynoed yet?
-
yes, dynoed about 2 months ago. 283 WHP and 296 Torque. all this was @ 16.5 psi in a 94 degree shop on 92 octane. I'm still not fully tuned for racing, this was just to get my car running, not a performance tune at all. TXS is getting almost 100 WHP more than I am out of my setup...and running 11's. No worries though, I'll make the trip to Godspeed for the ultimate tune sometime this winter to get tuned by God himself... I should see low 12's high 11's by the end of next year HOPEFULLY.
