Altezzas

Why do we hate them? For the most part they look like they were cheaply made, thats my main gripe. Second I don't like chrome on newer vehicles, even worse I don't like plastic that tries to immitate chrome. 3rd, the ones that are supposed to look like carbon fiber, don't even come close to pulling off the look.
Generally I think we hate them because they are the one single piece that can make a $35,000 car look like a $35 car.

I don't care for the really horribly made ones, other than that I have no problems with them. On certain cars they look pretty good. To each their own...

But yeah, there are cars that they look decent on, just not most IMHO.

Most people know me as the kid with 1g and altezzas. When they see me they are like your the one who drives the 1g altezzed eclipse. So they obvioulsy make my car stand out even tho it is a piece.

what was i thinking 1g with altezzas? well if you had altezzas you didnt have to pay for what would you do with them?

plus i had them on an old car of mine and i hought they were cool at first, and now they are really gay unless they are a factory option.

I wouldn't mind aftermarket taillights so long as they look like they belong on the car. If proper care was taken in the design process to make them look stock at first glance or at least look like they should have been a factory option, then I like it.

ya my car is gay and i have them. LOL Its cool how some of these 2005 model cars are comin stock with altezza type tails like the equinox (spelling) and i think the matrix might have them too. and im sure more

Just because cars followed the style doesn't mean that they're any less stupid looking. At least with newer cars, they are (USUALLY) trying to engineer the lights to look appropriate for the vehicle.
