My bad, I was a little off with the specs. Assuming a 150 pound driver, the car would run 15.95, according to binaryinc auto calc. Of course there are many variables, but it does give a pretty close result. My point is that they are decently quick for being an escort.

Considering a base model escort has an 88hp 1.9L that will do 18s stock, the GT is decenty quick.
