Can I suggest a turbo for your stang? There was a thread on here not too long ago with a turbo 6 putting up some nice numbers but then again it will cost more than you like probably.

You can buy the kit for like $4500 I believe someone step in if this is wrong. The install might set you back another grand so that quote from Type-R maybe a little off.

I know that SLS offers a kit for Honduhs for $2500 (not publically though) but that is the most basic of kits so I think with being that you're V6 and all it would cost a little more.

400~500ish HP but I am not exactly sure on what his set-up was. Just kind of a fair warning though that it may take longer than you expect with SLS because they are always super busy with things around the shop.

No problem it would be done over either this winter or next winter, so they could have the car for months!!!

you'll be looking at a new longblock to make that kind of power..

ATI Procharger installed by us: Kits are $3300-$3800 plus injectors and chip (depending on year) We can do the install for you and burn a custom tune for the vehicle on the dyno. A Procharger will achieve 40-80% hp improvements depending on kit, year options, etc. We do ALOT of supercharged mustangs (I'll be there tomorrow street tuning 2 of them). No we are not in fargo, but we're 140 miles south. We have customers from Rapid City, Minot, Minneapolis, Sioux City, Eau Claire Wi, etc. that bring cars here for us to play with. Let me know if we can do anything for you.

                    Mustangdude...

I applaud your decision on working with your V6. Unbeknownst to you at the moment, it actually opens up other possibilities for you, especially in formal competition, you would be in a very niche class.

I would suggest you tap the knowledge base on both www.stangnet.com, and www.tcstangs.com for local advice (for shops and such if the need arises). Some very reputable places include RJR Motorsports and Hi-Tec is legendary for their dyno tune.

Keep in mind the V6 project will probably be frustrating at times, and somewhat expensive, and at times you may be tempted to throw a 5.0 or 4.6 under the hood, so I suggest that you really think this over to be sure this is the exact direction you want to take the car (not just a whim). That way, it is more likely you would see the project through.

Supercharger is my other option, but I love the sound of a turbo spooling and the BOV!!! But I guess I would want to go with whatever is going to give me more power int the long run........thanks dynotune If I go supercharger I will go through you....but like I said in a previous post I have to pay off my current debt, like 2g then Im takin a lone out from my bank, so it wouldnt be for a little while, can you give me some numbers from some of the V6 stangs youve supercharged?

www.roadraceengineering.com used to sell the aem stand-alone system with 3 different prices.

                        1. $10k if you want something to amaze your friends that will help you build a 10second car
                        2. $3500 if you think that this is the only way to make xxxhp
                        3. $1400 if you are concerned about how to adjust your fuel pressure on the fly, account for large variations in altitude, etc
the questions weren't that simple, just stuff i pulled off the top of my head. basically, if you were buying the stand-alone because of fast and the furious than you deserved to get raped... but if you had some idea what to do and weren't just jumping on the bandwagon... see where i'm going with this?
caleb knows what's what, he'll help you figure out what to do if you ask him the right questions. BUT, if you go in (any performance shop) saying that you want your base model mustang to smoke your cousin's viper, have 2 15's in the trunk, convert it to a 5spd and still be reliable enough to get to class enery morning... he's going to send you away with a scary price (and if you are stupid enough to buy at that price, he'll be happy to take your cash).
do some reading to compare superchargers to turbos on v6's, figure out some realistic goals and what kinds of prices to expect, then go in with some intelligent questions. i guarantee that you will be talking to a completely different guy and getting different answers.
