I dunno, it makes sense that they'd do something like that, since drifting is basically showing off your sliding abilities, why not add a little flash to it as well.

There is a picture of a GTO doing a burnout with those tires in Car and Driver. If I remember correctly the caption said the run about $1900/tire.

Why would you pay 1900 per tire for that. White does for me. In the drift comps that would probably get the attention to score points if it was on point scale. not sure how that is ran
