Ferrari 360 Modena dyno

I thought they had a little more juice than that. Sweet laser though.

interesting that they should be listed at 400+/- bhp yet only dyno at 301. i wonder if perhaps it's the result of the transmission? something like the auto tiburon gt is approx 25% loss
EDIT: just did a look at the page... 8500 is where ferrari lists the peak hp, 301 at 8400 makes me think something is off or they just didn't push it all the way? -
Car was rated @ 395 factory, and they are transverse engines. This particular car also has aftermarket wheels (which are heavier to my belief). I don't have any other 360s to compare with, and there have been very few on chassis dynos that I know of, so if you think it should have more to the wheels, it may be. The car was run to 8500-8600, I will post graph later. I watched a guy on hot rod TV run the dyno once, I think I was running it right (and hopefully the 3000+ cars I've dynoed before this...)
The owner of the car also thought about 300 WHP seemed correct from his knowledge as well. I always get a little leary zinging a mo' to that many RPMs- not wanting to see the inside of the motor without proper disassembly.

Actually they weigh in around 3000 lbs according to Automobile magazine.

Ferarri's are always so damn sweet looking, but I might be a little let down buying one and only getting 300 at the wheels. Oh well, it's still cool as shit.
Are you gonna have the dyno in Fargo again anytime soon? I have the 5-speed in and wouldn't mind strapping it down if you are gonna be around.
edit I just looked at the dyno sheet, the a/f is pretty fat for a NA motor. Was that a baseline pull or do you have some way to tune those things?
