hahah did you say 12's? good luck!!!! Ibet it weighs 5,000lbs you will need about $10,000 to make it run 12's

Just take the box off.

its not goin to be too much
parts for this thing ar cheaper than parts for my honda....now thats sad....i have many catalogues and have come to the conclusion, all wiring is 500, and the body parts and rubber seals are goin to be the most expensive parts besides tinning the bed. and its a SBC so motor parts are cheap. -
dumb question here, but what was the other project you are setting aside for this?
i am a chevy kinda guy but as was said fox body stangs can be made quick for little money.
i would think if you kept the weight to a minumum, set the suspension up right and were able to hook it would be a drivers race.Monty

the only thing i know about this is that i read about it alot and many swear it helps to have it set up right to improve launch and 60' times and in the end the final et.

Here's some inspiration. This is from New Rockford here. The owner and his brother fix up old cars/trucks as a hobby. As you can see, by the meats on the back, this truck does have some serious nuts.

That truck is tits.

its a 1980 mustang and it has a 302 in it out of a ford f150. they are going through the motor cause it runs like ass. Also the car is not street legal. no guages except for aftermarket tach, oil pressure, water temp. and volt.
also i dont beleive they had true 5.0 mustangs in that year. but correct me if im wrong.

It IS infact a 5.0 (psst, that's 302ci)....just not a factory 5.0L car (or, maybe it did have a factory 5.0L and they gernaded it.....maybe it's a V6 car....or a 4cyl car...or maybe Ford just forgot to put a motor in it.)
a '5.0' is not a car.. a Mustang GT/LX is the car with a 5.0L motor.
just like the SVO Mustang is not a '2.3'. it's a SVO Mustang with a turbo 2.3L I4

nicely said dubs!
