yeah that shifter sure doesnt look like a manual... unless it has paddel shifting on the steering wheel. Also those seats look very uncofable.Concept-X is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four mated to a clutchless six-speed auto-manual transmission controlled by paddle shifters mounted on the steering column.

Just from reading the information in this thread, I have a couple of impressions already.
Good:
Any sort of frame stiffening is good. The use of aluminum for weight reduction I am on the fence about. If they managed to design it to be structurally sound and also use aluminum parts for reduced weight, that is greatThe 2.0L turbo! Brings to mind DSMs and turbo VWs. For some reason, 2 liters seems to be a good size for 4 cyl engines.
The 6 speed auto discussed would not be so bad, basically a clutchless manual. Not so great for autox/road courses though, not having a clutch at my disposal sure would screw up my entrance to any sort of corner, but I guess it would just be a huge adjustment in your driving. Paddle shifters would be unique! I have never driven a car like that anyways.
Bad:
Racing seats in the back? You have to be kidding me..... Not like you will be carrying any back seat passengers on any sort of course that I know of....
Too much electronics! Seriously! Now I know a lot of younger folks like a lot of technology and stereo stuff in the car. But as you get older, and you have less time, and you use your vehicle to commute back and forth to work, you just need it dependable. And you quickly learn that the more gadgets the car has, the less dependable it gets, especially over time when everything starts to get old. Just look at Volkswagons nowadays. The fact my mk4 VR6 locked me out of the car because of the crazy features on it, and when I finally got in it, it would not start because of security features, caused me to sell that fucker.
The wrong direction.... These cars were meant to be hopped up sedans, sleepers if you will. You were supposed to surprise your local domestic sports car by taking off like a bat out of hell from a dig with what looks like a 4 door grocery getter you borrowed from your mother. Now, it looks flashier than a Corvette. First, the insurance compainies are going to adjust even further for this stuff. Secondly, the flashiness associated with the vehicle has a price, making it a quite expensive car and no longer the best bang for the buck.
It will be interesting to see if sales increase or decrease.

IDK. Kinda space age style. And If you tilt your head and look at it funny, it kinda reminds me of a Mazda6

theres also a rumor about mitsu joining with dodge again, and that the srt-4 will be based off the evo-x concept too.Heard that rumor too. I don't think it'll be avail. til 2007 though; I think.
Granted the exterior will look a little diff. probably a change of the front fascia and rear end.. Probably a cross front bumper like the current SRT; and since Dodge/Jeep don't plan to make 5 speeds anymore; i'd just assume it'll be a 6 speed. As far as AWD/FWD/or RWD, didn't see much of an answer there.
I doubt RWD; but maybe AWD
