dB level is a CARB regulation, not adopted by all other states. Some States/Counties/Cities have their own regulations regarding vehicle noise, but I cannot find one for fargo/cass county.

i own a 1992 toyota camry with a crack at some point in my exhaust pipe....anyways i was pulled over tonight because of my exhaust and because they thought i was drunk....they pulled me over more for the drunk driving(which i was not) but they said something about my exhaust to.....when i asked the officer at what point exhaust is illegal these are the exact words he used "anything that is not stock off the line" maybe all these police officers need to get together and decide what they are going to use for an answer to this question because this was the second night in a row ive been in a car that was pulled over for exhaust and both times i got different answers.....the purpose of this post was to point out that it doesnt just apply to sport compacts
