Accord smoked by Jeep

Our Bright Platinum Metallic Clearcoat Grand Cherokee Limited arrived in June 1999. It had three options: a 4.7-liter V-8 engine for $1070; a Power package with a sunroof and heated seats with memory for $1050; and the $550 Quadra-Drive four-wheel- drive system. The total price came to $37,385.

When we took the Jeep to the track, it accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds—0.9 second quicker than our long-term Mercedes-Benz ML430 when it was new. The Jeep’s quarter-mile time was 15.9 seconds at 85 mph. The skidpad rating was 0.76 g—a scant 0.03 g better than the ML430.

the 5.9 liter V8 jeep will do low 15s stock...but 13s...fuck no...here ya go hes a C&D test 1998 GC with the 5.9 liter...15.5

Thought it was pretty funny. That jeep can run low 13's maybe high 12's with the 4inch lift. Has magnaflow exhuast. K&n intake and superchip coming.

99-03 jeeps....are slow.....mustve been a 4 cylinder accord

It is my moms daily driver. She just got it like month ago and did lift tires and exhuas within 4 days. Here is a link to one pic of the toy my dad and i built in the garage. about 95% or some custom work done by us.

Any one want to talk shit about that Jeep. If i had some of the more extreme pics i would post them. This jeep is built stricly for off road use only. Has been rolled three times prior to this picture. You may have seen it at toppers car show a couple times if you have ever gone.

ya it isnt real fast cuz it is built for the low speed rock crawling. The built motor for mud drags is sitting the in the grage though
