well I know alot of people will hate this idea, but if you don't have a wireing kit for the subs yet you can get them cheap at wal-mart. not high quality but if you run a basic system they will get the job done I think their 4gauge runs maybe 30bucks. it's a cheap effective way to start.

kit comes with: power wire, ground wire, distribution block or two, remote wire, inline fuse, RCA's-2 sets

      Minute ricer!

yeah if ur ganna get power wire you will also need ground wire and unless you want to spend quite a bit you might as well get a kit a wal-mart cause it will have everything you need.

I wouldnt pay someone to do something i can do myself at a slightly slower pace, especially when i can learn from it. Plus my dads an electrician so if it comes down to it ill just wait til he gets home and have him help. Thanks for the offer though.
Ill be getting the head unit at Best Buy

Its not that hard. The subs are already wired up to the amp and such so alls i have to do is ground the amp, string wire from battery to the amp, take out the old head unit, put the harness on, crimp the connections, get the RCAs hooked up power, done. (probably forgot something but i wont tomorrow)

I'm actually going to give walmart the thumbs up for the wiring kit. As long as it is the AWG that you need, it'll be fine. And yes, its not that hard to wire it all up, just a piece of advice though: USE SOLDER. Seriously, your connections are only as good as your weakest link, no sense trusting a piece of tin squished over your wires to make a solid connection.

Think of it not as much of a wiring job, but more of an interior disassembly/reassembly job.

you will also need a remote turn on wire...

its simple to wire a amp kit in...

i'll do it for free if you need someone to do it....only takes me about 30 minutes for everything...depending on the car

i think those were my old subs actually....i sold them to a guy for 40 bucks a couple of months ago.....they are actually damn good for how old they are.

might need a battery terminal adapter too? i havent done it in a while and ive never done it in a mustang.. so i dunno for sure. maybe it depends on the kit you get.
