true, I say put a body kit on it, some nice rims, maybe some custom fiberglass in the hatch with a crazy system, your gonna have some tough competition from Scott in Ground Assault in shows...good luck man

Body kits ruin eclipses......get a nice lip on front, carbon fiber hood, suspension mods, and rims. Fuel pump, down pipe,boost controller, and afc will help out alot also.

also, i agree with what brian said 100%...2gs (specifically 97-99's) look awesome with minor mods. look at brians car for example. the thing looks pimp! dont mod your car to hell though because not only is it a DSM, but you have a 7 bolt also...and thats no good as many of us on here know

Finish the exhaust with a nice downpipe, afc, new upper and lower intercooler pipes, possibly a slightly bigger turbo like a 16g.....

yeah like brian said get a cf hood, front lip, tien suspension or JIC, downpipe, s-afc, fmic, ect....dont get a body kit...they are all fugly !!

95 and 96 are the only two years worth getting REALLY worried about....97 is kind of in the middle.....and 98-99 are nothing to get worked up about (just like 1g 7 bolts)

yeah i was thinkin carbon fiber lip with carbon fiber hood. do u think oem hood or something else? and any ideas for possible colors for the whole car... its silver now with chrome MR7s

they don't make carbonfiber lips for 2g's... at least not that I have ever seen.

7-bolts are gay period.... they're good for rodding on til they walk, or blow up... and then you do it right, and build a 6-bolt.

I couldnt be getting rid of my 7 bolt any faster....but then again im building a drag car. If he is more leaning towards a show car with a little boom under the hood then I wouldnt swap motors until something serious actually happens...but thats just me
