There is perhaps just a slight difference between a Talon ESI, and turbo DSM's. Just a little one. (and yes, i've owned both)

I don't think anyone will argue when he said they suck(unreliable,etc.). But they are fast. Is your ESi the 1.8?

unrealiable..probably. i've had to have both my engine and tranny rebuilt in the past 6 months which makes it hard to afford to mod stuff yet. but i think by suck he meant sloow compared to his 170 hp honda. wooooo! im probably the only dsm on here with less than that. oh and my esi is the 2.0 but its auto so MINE is slow right now.

Put it on the track tomorrow and find out. I've seen stock 1G DSM's run high 14's.

I had a DSM w/ just a mbc and an air filter that went 13.7.

i've got just a boost controller and exhaust; i'll turn the boost down as far as i can and we'll race. next sunday i'll be running at the track (unless my tires don't pass inspection)

Spoolude, I have AWD and a turbo. Same size as most DSM's, plus I weigh a lot more, crap I'm a 4 door

Stock DSM's arent that unreliable. They never made a 1.8 from 95-99. They don't "suck" either...
