it will depend on your car...

Brainerd straight is just under a mile.. should be able to hold a little bit of speed out of 10 (pretty well banked) and turn 1 can be taken fairly fast (I hear one of the TCStangs guys in his track prepped 95 Cobra R runs through that at WOT, which has to be close to 150)....
so if you have enough power to get to your top speed in that time...it'll depend what your top speed is.

I've got videos around here of IIRC an impala running up over 140.. don't remember what the F-bodies did in the videos I have...

that's the thing that scares me about the longer courses. You make a mistake on Brainerd and it's going to be a big mistake.

Pretty much as fast as your car will go... at BIR they got my 1000 on radar at 172 mph, at Road America there are two spots were you get up to top speed.

Ic. Well i was just talking like in general if your car can go like 250 or something a little more realistic for street car can you top out. So according what you said i am going to guess most street driven cars can be topped out.

I've been to Shawano Wi. for work, there is no track like that around there. Are you sure that is a existing track or a proposed track?

lol yeah, i did a map quest tyle thing from GF to there, and yeah, the closest city to the track is Shawano, and it's about 30 miles west i believe............lemme see if i can find it

they run enduros and shit there...they also have a drifting day and stuff...the track is over a mile long...it doesnt have to be a super long road race course...i still think it could be fun tho...

ok as far as autocrossin in the area next year there is a meeting this weekend that all the dates will be finalized. I love autocrossing. It is a rush plus it is alot easier on your car than road racing. if you want to road race i know that boys up in canada race offten during the summer.

As for autocross events i am sure that after the meeting this weekend the events will be posted.
