All of them do. Look back at scrible jam videos and realize who is on top. Eminem has 8mile. The others listed above have talent
eminem was a top battler in his day too, but when dr dre wants to sign you, those days can be over. he's released plenty of good diss tracks since then at benzino, everlast, jermaine dupri (ok nobody that matters but still). the eminem-canibus beef never took off really but em woulda took that too2slo50h wrote:
Your right it shouldnt be closed because of eminemness. But for someone to say he is the greatest is wack...
I dont really feel like arguing that to death.
ok ok i'm done...didnt really expect anyone to agree with me anyway, just my opinion -
Hip Hop is a hobby of mine. I have tons of old track. The orphange, Odd-jobbs, alot of NY rappers and tons of battle tracks. Makes me kinda biast towards Pop chart MC's.
they battled? Yeah I have old track and Eyeda just kills it. He is by far one of the best "battle" MC's ever.
Also a so called "LOCAL"

yup benzino is a joke
immortal technique is overrated too. most people just hear that one song "dance with the devil" and think hes the greatest ever. i have a video of him battling jin and of course jin kills him. do you think you could use yousendit.com or something to send me the eyedea one?

He has talent. I've had that track for like 3 or 4yrs. I downloaded it under the Swisha House name and it was even chopped and screwed. Swisha house is known more for the Chopped and screwed scene than anything. Swisha House was big in the underground about 5 or 6 yrs ago. They kinda took over when Dj Screw died.

Mike Jones tracks are great if you into drinking Codeine as a extracuricular activity. Thats there main reason for the re-stating and slowed down tracks. The style was perfected by DJ Screw before his death. Funny cause it was the cause of his death...
Every part of the counrty has its own type or claim to hip hop. The southern style is sort of over. He would have been big had his album dropped 5yrs ago. Just that Undergound Indy music has taken lead, kind of contradicting.

yeah, i'm too old. Never heard of most of those people. I use to listen to Eazy-e and NWA and the original Beasties....Now i like johnny cash and big head todd.
sad i guessJeez, never picked brett to be an Eazy-E/NWA fan. Ever hear any of the bootlegged stuff from pre-nwa days like "World Class Wrecking Crew" I don't think Eazy was in WCWC, Dr Dre and Lonzo were in it for sure as was DJ Yella and Cli-N-Tel. Love the old school rap. Kinda funny to re-listen to Sugar Hill Gang's "Rappers Delight" and hear how much of it is still being sampled/referenced on albums today.
