The rate in Washington, D.C. is 80.6 per 100,000. That means that you are about 25% more likely to be shot and killed in our Nation's Capital, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, than you are in Iraq.
Conclusion: We should immediately pull out of Washington, D.C.

Actually, I would venture to guess that less than 3/4, maybe even less than 1/2 of the soldier deaths in Iraq are due to gunfire, a lot are prob due to explosions/schrapnel (I could google, but I'm too lazy). Anyway, I'd bet that the odds of getting shot in DC are a lot closer to the odds of getting shot in Iraq than anyone would care for them to be.

He said deaths, not murders. He is saying the chances of dying, not being murdered, are better in D.C.I said this on a forum a LONG time ago, and I think someone copied me and actually researched it.
