104.7 the dam

[Jim]

I remember back a while ago, they did the same thing with another radio station (cant remember what) but the clips thing was just temp till the other one took over...

[amicheze]

i heard second hand a while back that ryknow (if you play in a band in fargo, you know ryknow), got invited to tour with some major band and for whatever reason the dam couldnt stay on air. i think the same person told me that it'll end up being a light rock kind of station.. but i dont remember for sure.

the dam was the only station i listened to since q98 went classic/few modern...now there's shit in this town for stations...i really hope that this doesnt mean an end to Playmakers concerts (i.e. Adema, Sevendust, Static X, Cold, Powerman 5000, Flaw, etc. etc.)...they were very affordable, and Playmakers kicks ass for concerts

[Parker]

AM radio ppl... AM radio..... haha

[TDuck]

the fucktards.

this town sucks ass for radio stations.

there are radio stations in waterloo iowa that are better than here and that city is the armpit of america.

Pop whore!

[TsiTom]

Q98 fuckin rules now!!...not only did they mix it up with classic rock...but the fact that it takes forever to hear the same song twice....

[MrScary]

Whats the NDSU or UND death metal station??

[krzydrftr93]

105.9 is NDSU station but I wouldnt consider that death metal

[PSiedTSi]

they play everything on that station...including real rap

[JohnW]

ya 105.9 is really good, they have different shows every couple hours, usually with something completely different. i've heard top 40, indie, emo, metal, hip hop, rap, classical, wierd shit, techno, cartoon theme songs, tribal indian stuff, all kinds of music.

[HandoEX]

105.9 is an awesome station! Their variety owns!

[PSiedTSi]

i always listen to the college station...its just more fun..and its people just like you on there talking and shit

[StangerBanger96]

who is 103.3??

[TsiTom]

i believe you are correct

[StangerBanger96]

weird.................because sometimes i hear like modern rock and one time i heard like 4 rap songs in a row and was thinking maybe there was a new rap station in town or something, then it was classical the next night. Odd.

Off topic but ill let you guys decide if its worth making a new thread over or just continuing in here...
Is it possible to hack into a digital cable signal? Reason being, on HSN a couple weeks ago instead of the scheduled prgramming it was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on (new version). Then about 45 minutes into the movie, it says "acquiring DVD data" then goes to a DVD menu screen for THE GRINCH and just sat there. What would you guys think the explanation for that would be?? It seemed like someone hacked the signal with their own dvd player or something, it was weird, and only on HSN.

the DAM is now 104.7 the wolf....fucking country!!!!!!!! God help us!!!! fuckin bullshit!!!!
