Dude... theres Chipotle / Qdoba are NOT the same resturant...Maybe owned by the same people (no clue), but they are not the same food!!!
If i remember correctly there is a qdoba and a chipotle within a block of each other in maple grove...
i know someone who knows the owners of "qdoba" on 45th. The "fishers" own it of FF fishers and leasing dealership, i heard they started it? -
so sonic seems to be the prevailing idea. i'll have to do some research and figure out what the initial investment figures are, franchising is effing expensive for a large chain. we aren't a rich family but maybe with some other investors it could be doable. werd.

Okay... I've had Chipolte in St. Cloud; and.. "Loved it.." Had Qdoba's once; it seems the same, but for some reason I remembered liking Qdoba's so much better.. I had White Castle before, it was okay.. But the meat seemed a little weird IMO; like one person said; not something you can eat everyday... But not bad on price; cheap low on price, and the burgers or sliders or w/e I had, they were like w/ no topping.. Guess a lot of ppl don't like it.. Never had Sonics; but I bet that would be a good one to try.. Just don't choose to double up on something else already in town.. It's nice to have options..

Processing fee is a straight up $30,000
You need to invest atleast $710,000 to a max of $2.3 million. To open 1 store, your net worth have to equal to that store, Sonic does not offer financial aid.
Minnesota is a not a market area for Sonic, for there it is impossible for you to franchise.
Your mom should try Subway, cost of franchise ranges from $150,000 to $300,000. You only need to invest 50%, the rest can be put on loan with Subway inc.

It's weird how those #'s(Prices/$) Work out.. I mean, In my opinion of a Franchise, you would want to expand.. Not make it hard to expand.. I've seen Sonic's in smaller towns than Fargo; so they must be able to pull through..
What about a Long John Silvers? <- never ate there; but it's something not in Fargo yet...
And I hear people are all about Jimmy John's (Sp?*) But I know they have one in Grand Forks..(heard rumors of one coming anyways... could be myth!) Many Many Possibilities... -
Seen ashow we're on the subject of fast food. What do you guys think of Culvers? I love there burgers, no ketchup or mustard needed and what other fast food restraunt has good old school crinkle cut fries.
I think sonic would be cool, I still wanna try WC though. I like subway but theres already a shit load of them around. Jamestown used to have 3 now 2 ,c'mon it's jamestown, even carrington has one. We need a new fast food experience, something new, something tasty, something cheap. -

Usually they send out my burger with the meat still raw on the inside OR burnt to a crisp. The last time I ate there the food tasted ok, but I got sick to my stomache within a few hours of the meal so I don't think you'll be seeing my ass there again any time soon.

There was a place in Bismarck that was basicaly the red pepper, just under the name the grinder, the owners were friends and shared recipes. They even sold there hot sauce in the Red Pepper containers.
I second noodles and company, once again offering something other than a Burger, to much other greasy competition.
The reason I stated Honey Baked Ham, is that they do a ton of online business, also have a deli and store front for all there items, and are usualy busy and are generally only open until around six, so no bullshit late nights.
How about something that isnt fast food like a Red Robin, or go all out and open a PF CHANGS.
