seanjohn u are on of a select few that took a good route in school. if everything goes as u say.
How do you figure he's one of the few?Becoming a pharmacist is extremely difficult. It's nothing like getting a BA....the tests are grueling and alomost no one even gains entrance into the program. The pay is exceptional, though

there are very few exceptions where a person with no formal education will make that kind of money. self employment and back breaking manual labor are about the only two

he's braggin about how much he makes. so it obviously makes him cool.

If I wanted to brag, I would about being more intelligent than 99% of society....but I'm a humble guy  . Money is not why I pursued a career in pharmaceutical sciences, and I am certainly not bragging. I am simply trying to prove a point. If all goes as planned I will eventually gain my PhD and make my way into research and development; cure cancer, aids, the bird flu, herpes...stuff like that.Pharmacy is pretty tough to get into....but certainly not impossible. Anyone who has the work ethic to dedicate an extra 15 hours a week, or so, to studying can do it. Plus the knowledge you gain is priceless.
I don't think he was referring to you, i think it was directed toward the66

Actually, i was referring to sean john. nobody cares if you make 6 digits per year, you bumped a thread from november obviously to tell us about you 50k sign on bonus or whatever, thats great and everything...but 99.9% of this board could probably give a shit less.
But atleast you told us all the oppurtunities that you get from pharmaciticul(however you spell it) and your options. Again congrats, but its kinda ignorant to do it...especially in a thread that died 2 months ago.

Ahh...well my instinct was right, in which case go ahead and refer back to the sarcastic comment I made.
I'm not bragging at all, I could give 2 shits what the majority of the people on this board think of me, I was simply trying to prove a point. I'm not ignorant, nor was I trying to be. College: > money, simple as that.

i dont get what college:> Money means, cause obviously people goto college to get it. People definately arent just goin to college to study, maybe some to party their brains out till they get kicked out and just trash the money.if you could give 2 shits less....why bump the thread back up? I dont goto college, never will. But it's still common sense to me that goin to college likely would be the better choice, but i hate school, books, studying which is why i didn't go.

Hey, college isn't for everyone! Kirk, can you wash my truck later?? lol. JK
There are a lot of kids in my classes that shouldn't be there, because they are dumb as rocks.
Most people will do better with a degree, however just because you get a slip of paper doesn't automatically mean you are going to make 60k starting because Joe Blow last year started at that.
seanjohn what is your name?
