Manual Tranny Swap

I've been thinking about going with a manual tranny swap for some time and now I'm really considering it. This is a very common swap for 6th gen accords since the auto trannies in them are pretty weak.

Who is town can do this type of tranny swap? Recommendations?

Just exploring my options at this point but appreciate any advice/feedback!

Jason, stop by Tintmasters and see what they will do for you, we've done a few auto to manual trans swaps

i dont know if i would want a tranny shop doing that swap. it is probably a little more involved then they want to deal with
that swap is so fun to do

i thought switching over to a manual took quite a bit of time to do....

It's definatly no little job, there's a lot of parts swapping to be done.

Truthfully it kind of sucks to do it. Its not the thing for a newbie to try.

I'm pretty sure Fitzy and I could do it for ya. I remember Fitzy pretty much did all the work when Fradete's car was swapped to a 5spd.

just get a built tranny and a high stall TC.....at least thats what I would do

Not only that, he ask for a place to go, so i told him were to go and see what it would cost. and why do you have to be an ass to everyone that say go to tintmasters and get a quote, you don't see me ever flame your company or any of your work.
