Ford GT

screw the Z06.. the GT can handle..
I'd take the GT over any one of those other cars... any day, any week.
That black one intrigues me though. Wonder if it'll be in the next gumball 3000...
Per the license plate it's the new 'Torquenstein', replacing a Hennesey TT Viper that was wrecked in the desert overseas during 2004 Gumball 3000. -
If the license plate says tork 1, I think it may be the guy who owned the torquenstein viper which was wrecked in the gumball in 2005. (www.torquenstein.net)). I could be wrong- but he's from fargo and already had a hennesey TT viper...

Y'all are crazy, I would rock the HELL out of the LeMans-esque GT.
Take that sumbitch to Road Atlanta and just go nuts.
BTW, Torquenstein is my hero.
Go watch the DVD 'Vehicular Lunatics' by IMV films (should be on his site) if you haven't already. He plays a decent sized role in it.
Sucks to hear about his Viper.

I like the "old school GULF" blue and orange colors. Total babe magnet. Those colors are just the ticket to make an old Ferrari racer or historian cringe. Seeing the ass end of that car will be sure to send them into a bad flash-back of the ass wooping they got in the late 60's from the factory Fords sporting that color combo.

sorry dubbsy, you beat me
I think it was the 2004 Gumball that they wrecked the Viper. Those guys were lucky as hell to have survived that wreck. I've got the video around here somewhere IIRC along with most of the 2004 Gumball videos. Looking at the video here they were on the high side of 120MPH (atleast in the chase vehicle) when the dumped it.

tt viper from fargo. i would why i have never heard off that or him based on the site being a race driver and everythingActually he was out at Interstate Dragways one time for the street legals; I think it was in 2004. It wasn't until after the races that I found out about him and the gumball or I would have taken an interest in it. They were out there making a couple passes with cameras mounted on the window, and actually I know there are pictures or videos around of the car at the strip (I think it was a burnout picture from the box). It was a busy day and I was focused on racing so I only saw parts of one pass.

Yep Dubb's is right, he is exporting that GT for Gumball 2006Sweet. When is the 2006 Gumball anyway?
That LeMans Paint scheme is fairly limited too IIRC. (I'm a fan)

Ferrari please.Oh, don't get me wrong. I love Ferarri's but the new GT and old GT40 is one of the only Fords I've ever really liked (the Pantera too) and the new one is no different. Now if I had the money, would I buy it or something else. Probably a Z06 and a BMW for the same $$ as the GT. Nothing fancy, just something nice and fun.

Yeah, we had a big discussion about this guy a while back, remember he's the one who was caught sending massive amounts of spam and such?

There are the two videos, and yes, he was the guy at Interstate Drags with cameras strapped all over his car, getting smoked....

The GT is a cool car...but christ..that's a lot of money. I would take a new Z06 anyday of the week over the GT. Then I would take the extra money that I didn't spend, stick 10k into the vette and have a way better car (and buy a house with the rest, haha). I know, the people who are buying the GT have tons of money, and want the GT because well...it's a Ford GT. If I ever have enough extra cash to buy even the Z06...that will be sweet!
Plus...nobody can deny the Z06 is a sexy ass car:)

The red viper at the track with camra's didnt have a turbo tho...

god that's a nice car......and the black one looks to have ND plates on it....

The full text of one copy of the spam is archived here. The letter has proven to be an invaluable source of information on Jerry Reynolds, and has provided insight into the way he works. Howard K. and David Ritz have provided an analysis of the letter:The email was sent from RRNet.com, a small ISP in Fargo, ND. RRNet kicked Reynolds off the site a long time ago, but Netzilla spam continued to arrive because Jerry would hire college students to sign up with RRNet and post spam.""

170k for that ugly thing is fairly cheap. Some guy in St. Cloud paid 200k for his red one. For that price you can easily get a 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena with money left to spare on a C6...
