The GT is a cool car...but christ..that's a lot of money. I would take a new Z06 anyday of the week over the GT. Then I would take the extra money that I didn't spend, stick 10k into the vette and have a way better car (and buy a house with the rest, haha). I know, the people who are buying the GT have tons of money, and want the GT because well...it's a Ford GT. If I ever have enough extra cash to buy even the Z06...that will be sweet!

Plus...nobody can deny the Z06 is a sexy ass car:)

"check what I found out about jerry reynolds... its def. him because his wife is kimberly reynolds; check out the addresses and such:

              http://www.rahul.net/falk/Nz/

'Netzilla was the largest (as of Mar 1999) porn-spammer on Usenet. Netzilla was also known as or associated with Sexzilla.com, Intel Telecom Corporation, and ITC. In late 1996, the whois data for netzilla.net identified the domain as being owned by Intel Telecom Corporation, with Jerry Reynolds listed as the contact person."

              "7 May 1996:
Jerry Reynolds first appears on the internet spamming the Make.Money.Fast pyramid scam"

"The first known appearance of Jerry Reynolds was his spamming of the Make.Money.Fast pyramid scam. The letter was discovered by a Yahoo search on "Reynolds" and "Fargo".
The full text of one copy of the spam is archived here. The letter has proven to be an invaluable source of information on Jerry Reynolds, and has provided insight into the way he works. Howard K. and David Ritz have provided an analysis of the letter:

The email was sent from RRNet.com, a small ISP in Fargo, ND. RRNet kicked Reynolds off the site a long time ago, but Netzilla spam continued to arrive because Jerry would hire college students to sign up with RRNet and post spam.""

170k for that ugly thing is fairly cheap. Some guy in St. Cloud paid 200k for his red one. For that price you can easily get a 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena with money left to spare on a C6...

IMO just goes to prove the hp is not the only key to going fast. 🙂

it also proves that 500hp is useless with dot tires.

and, well, i spose it would help if he actually hit the gears

And on a busy street legal day, there probably wasn't traction until 1500 feet.

The blue ford gt ugly???????wow!!!I know it might not be for everyone, but you can't deny the racing heritage of this car. Saying it is butt ugly is like saying a Ferrari shouldn't be red. that is the color this car should be. It is a legitimate super car no matter where it is made and who makes it. By the way i love the new z06 and would buy one if given the chance. C'mon, Le Mans, the GT40, racing history!!! This car is a tribute to that car...in the racing colors=beautiful! If you love cars, you would know. It's time to get past all that domestic bs and love cars for cars. That is what being a "Car Guy" is all about.
