At any rate, you recognize the difference between a wastegate and a blow-off valve. No, there is a correct answer, you have to think of it in terms of a cycle. You can really "start" anywhere in the sequence. Its the follow order that matters.

If you think of it logically, the engine can't start without the intake cycle being first. Nobody teaches the 4 cycle engine design any other way because it's the basis of everything.
