Let me know how that JDM motor runs. You bought the 2.5 V6 right? I think it has 205hp with 195lbs tq? Am i correct? I am planning on buying one for my 626. Let me know when you get it running, id like to check it out and maybe even ride in it.

Also, i am in a car forum that deals all about 626's and probes.
    www.mazda626.net
And one that deals with probes only
    www.probeaddiction.com

    ^^^
Those are good websites when it comes to tuning and ordering parts for the JDM V6.

Like i said good luck and keep me updated with the progress.

The KLZE is rated at 190-197 hp depending on the year, and 160 ft-lbs torque. It's only going to put out 190+ at the crank if it's in top condition, running on the JDM ECU, and it's running on high octane fuel.

yeah the wireing is all messed up on this car so today decided instead of trying to figure it out that i would try find a harness and i found one in GF at swanglers autoparts so that was pretty sweet, i had to go pull the harness out myself but that was ok it was a good thing to find one.

well i guess this car is turning into a little bit of a money pit, now i had to order a distributor for the car seeing as how FORD had a screw up with their distributors that if they get to hot they burn out or something so i figure if i replace everything now i wont have too many problems in the future, but its still cool that when you open the hood it says mazda on the engine lol i just get a kick out of that.

The problem with the distributors has a workaround using a GM HEI module.

maybe crank sensor is on backwords, bad plug wires, bad ignitor/wrong ignitor. not everything is connected right,

and last and most important is the grounds. my car did start and my dad did the last final hook ups while i was working and it didnt start. the problem was that the ground were not properly clean off

                Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
                Diesel repairs or performance products.

the crank sensor can only go in one way, i just bought brand new plug wires, new distributor, and i checked all the grounds with a testlight and they all came up good but thanks for the reply any information i get at this point helps me out alot.

The Probe is running Now after buying my third wiring harness it runs good but then the heater core was either out when we got it or it went out because it is leaking coolant onto the passenger floor. so i guess i get to basically replace everything on the car so hopefully no major problems in the future.

here is a couple updated pics of the probe, one is of the front bumper refiberglassed and repainted and the other is of the mazda motor in the probe I also got a new ECM with the KLZE Chip in it and the rev limiter raised to 8000 RPM runs decent but still a few problems to fix. but i guess that comes with any engine swap.

just to add, the pic of the front of the car the oil under the car is not from this car it is from the engine in the background on the left, that is a totally different motor swap in progress in a mitsubishi mirage. yeah because i was taking the probe off of blocks last night and backed into that motor so i got mad and picked the motor up and threw it outside and that was just some oil that came out of it.
