y7/z6 hybrid

i know i ask about this alot but i finally have everything and i have one last question.
the z6 oil pump out flows the y7 oil pump by quite a bit and i would like to use one but i know the y7 doesnt have a dipstick hole like the z6 did. now is the hole the ONLY differance when doing this? will a z6 oil pump bolt up and work and everything and i just wont have the z6 dipstick hole? i was thinking of just drilling it. is this a possible combo?

are you using a y7 block with a z6 head? or going the other way around? not quite sure exactly what you are doing for a hybrid, but it sounds interesting.

It has been done before... ppl just drill out the hole for the dip stick and put it in the block.... hope this helps...
