so i was working today and i got my car stuck my dad said he would come over to tow me which is great so i just chilled and waited but then this guy in this snow plow comes over to me and not to offer to help but what does he say he opens his car and says get out of your damn car and get on your hands and knees and start digging, i mean honestly what an ass

Fargo kicks the ass of other places i've lived w.r.t. snow removal. When seattle gets .5" of snow the town shuts down for a few days.
When I was growing up, Louisville, KY got 11" of snow in a day. Town was shut down for a week.
My favorite is when the plows roll through the alley and stack up snow in front of your garage

The difference between Fargo and Moorheads roads is a night and day difference. Moorhead kicks ass with road clearing, Fargo sucks balls. Lastnight at 10 the main roads around NDSU were down to 1 lane with 1' or higher drifts that would eat most cars alive. Fargo sucks balls compared to Moorhead.

Hahaha. Your fucked.X2 on the City of Fargo snow plow crews. First of all they do a terrible job. Second of all, they have no courtesy for other drivers on the road. And third, during the winter when they would plow over night, I'd have to go really fast so I don't get stuck in the 3' drift at the end of my driveway. Ridiculous.

There is always a drift at the end of the driveways. They do that in the cities too. Just shovel/snowblow or do like I do, throw the explorer in 4 and drive over it.
Think about how hard it is to plow when you can't see the edges of the roads. Its gotta suck for them.
As far as other drivers go, its out responsibility to stay the hell out of their way. They have a job to do and with all the other drivers out there it can be a pain in the ass for them.

All you guys that are bitching should get out your shovels and clean the streets yourselves. The city works hard at cleaning the streets. They have a hard time keeping up due to the rapid growth and being under budget, not to mention keeping all the equipment in working order. So get out there and start shoveling if you think you could do better, would you rather they did nothing at all? Come on, think a little bit before you start complaining, or better yet, be a MAN and take it in stride. Thank you, that is all.

Now i agree you could go easy on them cuz they do get underfunded and whatnot, but these people pay for it already so why should it be there responsibility to do the work they already paid for.
